From the towers you see the panoramic views of the river meet the sea.

We then take a short walk to the boat station located right at the back of the Tower. Our boat takes us down to the Fishing village, you will see fleet of fishing boat and learn how they do fishing and their way of life as well. We visit the Char-coal stove making village; Considered as Kichen God to all Vietnamese, so there is one stove in every family although gas cookers have been used abundantly nowadays. Tourists are told the legend of kichen God by craftmen to experience the fire culture in Vietnam.

We continue our Countrysidy & River tour to the Coconut Garden; Found through out the tropic and subtropic area, the coconut is known for its great versatility as seen in the many uses of its different part. Cocouts are part of the daily diets of many people. Coconuts are different from pther fruits because they contain a large quantity of "water" and when immature they are known as tender-nuts or jelly-nuts and may be harvested for drinking. When mature, they still contain some water and can be used as seednuts or processed to give oil from the kernel, charcoal from the hard shell and coir from the fibrous husk. The endosperm is initially in its nuclear phase suspended within the coconut water and much ....Here you can watch your coconut being picked fresh from the tree just for you.

The next destination of our Countrysidy & River tour is the Ancient House; Built 170 years ago, all Vietnamese houses built like this style, the layout is for 3 apartments by the 2 wings in which the middle one to worship ancestors with full- decoration of the altar while either side for bedrooms. The architecture is very typical of 36 pillars and roofed of zin and zen tiles, with a court at front for bonsai and planters in an exuberant orchard, succeeded 5 genrations to live in the house. Relax, enjoy sesonal local fruits and green tea then we rejoin our bus to drive along a country road to visit a Rush Mat weaving family business; How different it is for your bed equipment in different weather, view material and weaving. Mat is popular to all people in tropical weather. small mats are your present, as well.

We will continue our Countrysidy & River tour to visit a Rice Paper Making factory;

One of the most popular foods in VN is made from rice steamed and processed into round pieces, dried in the sun on bamboo brackets, then offered for sale in the inns and shops locally, and commonly used to wrap the famous Vietnamese rice-paper rolls and Vietnamese spring rolls.

Next, we will visit the place where they make the Non la (palm-leaf conical hat) which is a traditional symbol of Vietnamese people without age, sex or racial distinctions.

Like many other traditional costumes of Vietnam, Non la has its own origin, coming from a legend related to the history of rice growing in Vietnam. The story is about a giant woman from the sky who has protected humankind from a deluge of rain. She wore a hat made of four round shaped leaves to guard against all the rain. After the Goddess had gone, Vietnamese people built a temple to commemorate her as the Rain-shielding Goddess.

Vietnamese people tried to make a hat modeling after the Goddess' by stitching together palm leaves, which is now known as Non la. The image of Non la has become strongly associated with peasant lives from the paddy fields to boat men and women.

Non la can serve numerous uses such as shade from the sun, a basket for women going to market, a fan of a ploughman in hot summer days, or even a keepsake to remember. The image of a young lady wearing Non la and Ao Dai is a beautiful symbol of Vietnam; Non la is also an object which, as part of the national spirit, closely links Vietnamese people, so many travellers enjoy taking a Non la as a special souvenir from Vietnam.

Intricate manual work by women is accomplished here, and it would also be a great gift for your friends when you get home.

You lunch will be served at the well recommended local restaurants.

After lunch, we will take you back to your hotel where we bid you farewell. End Countrysidy & River tour.
